Feng Dazhong, 73, has been focusing on painting tigers for around four decades. Once criticized by his art teacher in his teenage years that his work wasn't worth even a piece of painting paper, Feng strived to practice basic painting skills and walked into the forest to draw inspiration from nature. Little did he know, his effort would be rewarded. Feng won the silver medal at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1984, which was a key point for his career. Since then, he has dedicated himself to painting tigers at a geopark.
