CGTN

Rescuers worked to clear the streets of Las Tejerias in north-central Venezuela on Tuesday, three days after the city was hit by a devastating landslide, and expanded their search for bodies buried under the sludge.

Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said the death toll from severe flooding had risen to at least 43, while President Nicolas Maduro said earlier on state television that as many as 100 may have died and 56 are still reported missing.
