Shots were fired at an Azerbaijani embassy vehicle in Washington D.C., the United States, on the night of October 10-11, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

The foreign ministry said it summoned the U.S. charge d'affaires in the country and expressed serious concern and dissatisfaction with the incident. It also requested Washington to ensure the security of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission.
