Xiayang Village sits on a mountain in east China's Zhejiang Province. Abundant water resources and a beautiful landscape have made it a hot destination for camping. But in the past, the village was poor, as residents often left to seek jobs. In 2021, the village was transformed into a tourist destination. That same year, it welcomed over 5,000 tourists, earning over 1.3 million yuan (about $180,856).
