Russian President Vladimir Putin and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday met in Astana, Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the 6th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), according to RIA news agency.
