Team Serbia beat Team USA 3-1 to reach the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship final in Gliwice, Poland on Wednesday.

Serbian captain Tijana Boskovic scored a game-high 33 points, including 32 spiking points and one kill block. Outside hitter Bianka Busa added 15 for Serbia.

Kelsey Robinson was the best scorer for the U.S. with 18 points.

Serbia had the edge in the first two sets and had to resist the American team's attempts to reverse them. The sets were closed by Serbia's Jovana Stevanovic with a perfect spike at 25-21 and the unstoppable Boskovic at 25-20.

U.S. captain Robinson gave her team hope when she contributed nine points to clinch a 25-17 victory in the third set.

However, Serbia had the last word, as the Americans couldn't find a way to stop Serbia's offensive duo, Boskovic and Busa. The Serbian squad won the last set 25-23, sending them to the final showdown.

The defending champions are the only team that have not lost a single match at the event. Team Serbia is now waiting to meet the winners of the other semifinal between Team Brazil and Team Italy for Saturday's final in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
