Kyiv Regional Governor Oleksiy Kuleba reported via Telegram on Thursday morning that Russian kamikaze drones targeted a community in the Kyiv region.
The governor said that rescuers are working at the site but did not provide further details on where the air strikes took place.
Critical infrastructure facilities were hit by drone strikes early on Thursday, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshen said after the reported attack.
A five-story building was hit by shelling in Mykolaiv, with the upper two floors completely destroyed, Mayor Oleksandr Sienkovych said on Thursday.
Russia has yet to respond to the claims.
