As the Communist Party of China (CPC) convenes its 20th National Congress in Beijing on Sunday, Rwandan Ambassador to China James Kimonyo shares his views on the CPC. Kimonyo tells CGTN Radio's Bridget Mutambirwa that the CPC is "a party that works for the people."
He speaks highly of its development programs implemented by the Chinese government to fight poverty and improve infrastructure. The ambassador also says he hopes Rwanda will further deepen trade with China through the Belt and Road Initiative.
