Noting that the Congress is a milestone in the history of the Party's development, Bai said that she feels a great responsibility as a delegate to the Congress.

"The 20th Party Congress is a very important congress held on the Party's new journey of building a socialist country in an all-round way and marching toward the second centenary goal (of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects)," she said, adding that she thinks this congress will make new plans and draw a new blueprint for the future development of the Party and the country.

"I believe that under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping at the core, our country will be more prosperous and will benefit workers," she said.

Yang Yanqiu, Party secretary and deputy director of the Institute of Historical Theory under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, checked in on Thursday.
