China's high-speed railway is one of the symbols of the country's robust development since opening-up more than 40 years ago. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, China has shared its know-how in infrastructure with other countries. A 142-km-long Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway built with Chinese technology and equipment is set to open in 2023.
