The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will elect members of the 20th CPC Central Committee, spokesperson Sun Yeli said on Saturday during a press conference at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

This is part of the agenda for the 20th CPC National Congress that was set at a preparatory meeting earlier on Saturday, Sun said.

The conference, to be held from October 16 to 22, will also hear and review a report by the 19th CPC Central Committee as well as a work report of the 19th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, he added.
