A total of 345 vessels have shipped 7.7 million tonnes of grain from Ukrainian ports, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said at a press conference in Istanbul with visiting Ukraine's Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov on Sunday.
He called it "a pleasing result."
On July 22, Ukraine and Russia separately signed a deal with Türkiye and the United Nations in Istanbul to resume food and fertilizer shipments from Ukrainian ports to international markets via the Black Sea.
The agreement is due to expire on November 19.
