On the southern edge of the Bohai Sea, where the Yellow River meets the mighty ocean, there's a very special place: a pit-stop oasis for birds winging their way south for the winter. By November, red-crowned cranes and a host of other feathered friends are gliding above the ancient Yellow River and its wetlands, presenting us with one of the most dramatic spectacles in nature.
