The China Meteorological Administration issued a yellow alert for Typhoon Nesat at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Nesat, the 20th typhoon this year, is expected to move west at 15 kilometers per hour, sweeping through the waters south of southern China's Hainan Province today. It will gradually weaken and dissipate south of the Beibu Gulf on October 20.
