Shuttlers from Team China reached the round of 16 in four events at Denmark Open on Tuesday.

He Bingjiao, Han Yue and Wang Zhiyi advanced in women's singles. Olympic silver medalists Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan eased past their rivals in women's doubles, along with another pair, Zheng Yu and Zhang Shuxian.

Liu Yuchen and Ou Xuanyi advanced in men's doubles, while Olympic champion Huang Dongping and her new partner Feng Yanzhe clinched their first victory in the mixed doubles event.

With the 2022 Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour Finals taking place in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, in less than two months, Team China aimed at earning berths for the season-ending finale in Denmark this time.

On Wednesday, Chinese shuttlers are competing in four events, in which there will be an all-Chinese men's singles match between Lu Guangzu and Li Shifeng. Meanwhile, China's Olympic champion Chen Yufei will also make her debut at the Denmark Open in the women's singles contention.
