Explosions were reported in Kyiv on Wednesday, according to a China Media Group (CMG) reporter.
Large-scale air alert alarms rang throughout the territory of Ukraine, news outlet Ukraine Now said.
Russian Defense Ministry said in its daily briefing it had launched new strikes against military and energy targets in Ukraine, with all designated targets being hit.
