Australian winemaker Penfolds has chosen Shanghai to launch its latest offering ahead of the global release. And the reason for this, according to the marketing director of the company, is the city's vibrancy in setting premium lifestyle trends. Other multinationals, especially those in the retail sector, share similar views and have collectively poured billions of dollars of investment in the city during the last 10 years.
