The Press Center for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) hosted a press conference in Beijing on Wednesday to brief the media on the building of rule of law in China.
On the topic "Under the Guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, Strive to Build Higher-Standard Rule of Law in China," Xu Ganlu, CPC committee member of the Ministry of Public Security, and other officials took questions from domestic and foreign journalists.
Public security system promotes social security and stability, said Xu. Indexes such as criminal cases and accidents have dropped significantly in the past 10 years, he said.
