The Taihang Mountains have taken on a colorful autumn look, leaves turning yellow and red in Changzhi City, north China's Shanxi Province. An important geographical boundary in China, it runs down the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau in Shanxi, Henan and Hebei provinces, stretching over 400 kilometers from north to south, with an average elevation of 1,500-2,000 meters. A winding road, known as the "sky road", curves through the mountains and has become popular among self-driving tourists.
