Wild giant panda caught on camera foraging, marking territory in NW China reserve

A wild giant panda was recently caught on infrared cameras foraging and rubbing its behind against a tree to leave its scent in the Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Gansu Province. The Baishuijiang reserve is among the four main areas of China's Giant Panda National Park. The fourth national giant panda census, released in 2015, showed that Gansu Province boasted 132 wild giant pandas, including 110 living in the reserve.
