Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Thursday that he held "a substantive and productive" call with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and thanked Germany for providing the IRIS air defense system.
The phone call came after the German president called off a planned visit to Kyiv on Thursday for security reasons. An official from his office said the visit would be rescheduled soon.
