Kishida heads for Australia, aiming to deepen 'security cooperation'

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida headed for Australia on Friday.

Kishida will hold talks with his counterpart, Anthony Albanese, on Saturday, including topics on "reinforcing security and defense cooperation, a Free and Open Indo-Pacific, and resources and energy," the Prime Minister's Office tweeted.
