The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide has exceeded 627 million, with over 6.5 million deaths, data from the World Health Organization shows.
The Chinese mainland recorded 465 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, with 409 attributed to local transmissions and 56 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Wednesday.
Myanmar extended its COVID-19 preventive measures until November 30, the Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment for COVID-19 has said in a statement.
