While doing research on China's poverty alleviation efforts, vlogger Stuart Wiggin came across two projects in Guizhou that he considered "Engineering Wonders." "One was something called gua bi gong lu" – literally a wall-hanging highway or cliff-hanger road. "That was a highway that was carved into the side of a mountain in Bijie. Another one was a competition-sized basketball court built inside a cave. And they were both built to meet the needs of the local people."
