The harmonious co-existence between humanity and nature is mentioned many times during the CPC National Congress. It is part of the Chinese Modernization concept. China is committed to sustainable development and to the principles of prioritizing resource conservation and environmental protection and letting nature restore itself.
Three expats living in China, Fernando Munoz, a Colombian current affairs commentator; Iain Inglis, a Communist Party of Britain member, and Jim Nobles, a former elected official from Washington state in the U.S., shared their perspectives on the green development in China over the years.
They said China plays an active part in the global governance system. It now leads the world in green energy, transportation, pollution reduction, renewable energy and biodiversity preservation, and is acting responsibly and selflessly in the globe.
