World No. 1 Fan Zhendong and Sun Yingsha will face teammates Wang Chuqin and Chen Xingtong in the men's and women's singles finals, respectively, at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Champions Macao 2022 on Sunday.

Defending champion Wang, 22, moved past Team Sweden's Truls Moregard 4-0 in the semifinal, while Fan defeated Lin Yun-ju of Team Chinese Taipei in a six-game match.

"In the beginning, I was well prepared and in control. But Lin was a really competitive player. The fierce contest reflected our real abilities from the second game on," Fan commented after the match, adding that he would produce his best performance in the final.

On the women's side, Olympic silver medalist Sun claimed a 4-0 victory over Team France's Yuan Jia Nan, while Chen beat veteran Mima Ito of Team Japan 4-1 in the other semifinal.
