Damascus explosions caused by Israeli strike: Syrian state media

Two explosions were heard in the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday in what appeared to be an Israeli strike taking place in daylight, state news agency SANA reported.
A Syrian military source said Israeli "bursts of rockets" hit areas around Damascus in the early afternoon. Syrian air defenses shot down "a number of them."
"The attack led to the wounding of a soldier and some material damage," the source said.
The Israeli military declined to comment.
