The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was marked as a triumph for the Chinese government and for China overall. The National Congress has introduced new mandates to usher in global cooperation. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, pledged to promote peace, cooperation, national rejuvenation, and socialism with Chinese characteristics.

The country is steering on the path of national rejuvenation in this new era. It is also imperative to highlight that over the past century, the contributions of hundreds of millions of Chinese will go down in the annals of history to be remembered by posterity.

Additionally, Xi has played a major role in the great reforms to lift the population out of poverty. In the last four decades, China has eradicated extreme poverty with good planning and policies. With a people-centered approach and sustainable initiatives, the country has enhanced its global outreach and socioeconomic development. The success story has also marked a new era for China's modernization under the 20th CPC National Congress.

In 2017, the 19th Party Congress unveiled a two-stage development plan to be completed by the middle of the 21st Century, while the 20th Party Congress this month outlined strategic tasks for the next five years. The socialist modernization will be fully realized in China by 2035 and the country will be developed into a great modern socialist nation that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious. This rejuvenation can mark a brand new chapter for the nation and the people in this crucial time of achieving the Party's second centenary goal.

A common Chinese metaphor "to avoid haste; go step by step" connotes the country's gradual economic expansion. China's economic reform and governance model have set an exceptional precedent in this modern world for other states to follow.

Another classic example of China's mutually beneficial cooperation is the Global Development Initiative (GDI). Xi Jinping incorporated the GDI with the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs). China is helping the global community and United Nations to achieve the SDGs by 2030. The GDI can mitigate inequality and realize the dream of development by adhering to the principles of an ecological civilization.

Meanwhile, the Western media has discredited China's governance system and the Western strategic vision remains layered by a pessimistic foreign policy. Nonetheless, this belligerence will not serve any good, nor would it impact China's global outreach.

Accordingly, China is in its best period of development in modern times, while the world is undergoing unprecedented changes. These two realities are intertwined and mutually influential. Therefore, China is ready to work hand in hand with people worldwide both at present and in the period ahead, along with the vision of building a community with shared future for humanity.
