The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has received world attention and has injected new dynamics into China's friendly cooperation with other countries, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin at a press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang mentioned the Congress, which successfully concluded on Saturday, was well acclaimed by the international community, and leaders of political parties, governments and heads of state of many countries extended congratulations to Xi Jinping for his election as the general secretary of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
