Liz Truss gave her final statement outside 10 Downing Street on Tuesday, saying it has been "a huge honor" to be UK's prime minister and lead the nation in mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II and welcoming the accession of King Charles III.
She wished Rishi Sunak every success "for the good of the country" and said she knows "brighter days lie ahead."
