A China-built ro-ro passenger ship embarked on a trial voyage in south China, amazing the world with its 2,500-passenger capacity and multiple functions to meet recreational and catering needs. The Moby ro-ro passenger ship, hailed as a "five-star hotel drifting on sea," has a gross tonnage of 70,000 tonnes, a draft of 7.2 meters, a length of 237 meters and a molded breadth of 33 meters. China built Moby all by itself, with independent intellectual property rights all reserved by the Chinese shipbuilder.
