The Yangjialing revolutionary site in northwest China's Yan'an is where Mao Zedong and other leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC) used to live and work. From April to June 1945, the 7th CPC National Congress was held at the Central Auditorium of Yangjialing. On Thursday, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, led members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and paid a visit to the Yangjialing revolutionary site.
