The European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday again lifted its three key rates by 75 basis points after a regular governing council meeting, leaving them sitting in a range of 1.5-2.25 percent.
The ECB has now hiked rates three times in a row since July in a bid to get control of inflation.
"Inflation remains far too high and will stay above the target for an extended period," according to a statement from the central bank.
