Two weeks ago, a robot developed by Chinese artificial intelligence company SenseTime defeated international grandmaster Xie Jing in a Chinese chess game, with some "strange but clever" moves. SenseTime engineers say the moves are enabled by a combination of visual technology and a smart mechanical arm.
