New British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak held a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, Modi confirmed on Twitter.
"We will work together to further strengthen our comprehensive strategic partnership," the Indian Prime Minister tweeted.
