Syrian and Russian troops conducted joint military drills involving ground and air forces, Syrian state media reported on Wednesday. A video released by Syria's defense ministry showed simulated joint attacks under the cover of artillery and air strikes. A variety of weapons and equipment were deployed, including fighter jets, helicopters, mortars and rockets.
