The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held successfully in Beijing. The Seventh National Congress of the CPC was held at the Central Auditorium of Yangjialing.

After the 20th CPC National Congress concluded, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, led members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and paid a visit to the Yangjialing revolutionary site.
