China issued a yellow alert, the third-highest alert, and ordered boats to return to harbors and personnel to shore, as Typhoon Nalgae is affecting coastal areas in east China's Fujian Province with gales and rainstorms. Affected by Nalgae, the 22nd typhoon of 2022, and the cold air, the coastal areas of Lianjiang County in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, have been hit by wind waves and rain since October 27. Local authorities have sent messages to fishing boats operating at sea to inform fishermen to return to port to take shelter from the winds and strengthen the safety of fishing pipes.
