China on Friday issued a new catalog of industries where foreign investment will be encouraged. Nearly 240 new items have been added, the most in recent years. Liu Baocheng, dean of the Center for International Business Ethics at the University of International Business and Economics, says that the revision of the catalog involves the manufacturing sector and producer services and aims to optimize the foreign investment layout.
