Lesotho's Prime Minister Sam Matekane took oath of office on Friday at a ceremony at Maseru's Sesoto Stadium.

Matekane vowed to introduce a raft of measures to "make Lesotho great again" by attracting investment and replenishing the government's coffers at the ceremony.

Leader of the Revolution for Prosperity Party, the 64-year-old businessman was appointed the country's prime minister after his party, established in March this year, won the most seats in general elections held on October 7.
