Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, inspected Yin Xu, also known as the Yin Ruins archaeological site, in Anyang City, central China's Henan Province, on October 28. Historical research and archaeological excavations prove that it served as the capital of the late Shang Dynasty (1300-1046 BC).
