China's Sun Yingsha and Chen Meng reached the women's singles final of the World Table Tennis (WTT) Cup Finals on Saturday, while compatriot Wang Chuqin set up a men's final with Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto.

World No. 1 Sun moved past teammate Wang Yidi 11-6, 11-4, 4-11, 14-12, 11-6 in the semifinal, and Olympic champion Chen downed teammate Wang Manyu 11-9, 11-3, 11-9, 11-13, 11-6 in the other all-Chinese matchup.

"Both of us went all out tonight. I played more smoothly after winning the fourth game. The passionate fans gave me lots of support, and I will spare no effort to earn every point in the final," Sun said after the match.

On the men's side, Chinese veteran Ma Long lost to teammate Wang Chuqin in a seven-game semifinal thriller, where the 34-year-old Grand Slam winner won three games after a 3-0 deficit but failed to take the decider.

Wang, 22, will face Harimoto who beat German Dimitrij Ovtcharov in straight sets in the final.

Both the men's and women's finals will take place in Xinxiang, central China's Henan Province on Sunday.
