General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Nguyen Phu Trong, is set to pay an official visit to China from October 30 to November 2. His visit comes at the invitation of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the Chinese president. Trong will be the first foreign leader to visit China after the conclusion of the 20th CPC National Congress.
