A new Central Asia route of the China Railway Express opened on Saturday with the first freight train departing the city of Luzhou in southwest China's Sichuan Province. It's the first Central Asia-bound freight train the city sent off under the China-Europe freight train transport service network. The new route comes as Luzhou is witnessing a surge in international logistics demands.
