Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will host a welcome ceremony for Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
At the invitation of Xi, Trong has been in China on an official visit since October 30.
