Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday he had an "important and productive" conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron on Ukraine's defense and initiatives to restore its destroyed energy infrastructure.
Macron said France would help Ukraine repair water and energy infrastructure damaged by Russian strikes, and his country will also help boost Ukraine's anti-air defenses.
The two presidents had agreed to hold an international conference in Paris on December 13 to support Ukrainian civilians in winter.
