At present, momentous changes unseen in a century are accelerating across the world. Human society is facing unprecedented challenges. The world has once again reached a crossroads in history, and its future course will be decided by all the world's peoples.

Building a world of lasting peace through dialogue and consultation, or a world of conflicts, cold-war mentality and power politics?

Building a world of common security for all through joint efforts, or fighting alone and living in fear?

Building a world of common prosperity through win-win cooperation, or a world of trade protectionism and self-isolation that will benefit no one?

Building an open and inclusive world through exchanges and mutual learning, or pursuing unilateral dominance?

Making our world clean and beautiful by pursuing green and low-carbon development, or pursuing development in a destructive way?

Facing unprecedented changes unseen in a century, China has proposed to build a human community with a shared future where the destiny and future of each and every nation and country are interlocked. People all over the world should stick together through thick and thin and endeavor to build this planet of ours into a harmonious big family and realize mankind's longing for a better life.
