The first batch of refrigerated food exhibits from overseas has been transported to the National Exhibition and Convention Center in East China's Shanghai ahead of the upcoming fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), after strict preventive scrutiny and disinfection on October 31.
Disinfection work and nucleic acid tests have been conducted on 2,269 pieces of imported food from 89 CIIE exhibitor countries before they were transported to the central warehouse in suburban Qingpu District via secured logistics vehicles.
