Samia Suluhu Hassan, president of the United Republic of Tanzania, will pay a state visit to China from November 2 to 4, her first since taking office. She is also the first African leader to visit China since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Mbelwa Kairuki, Tanzania's ambassador to China, believes the trip will inject new impetus into the comprehensive and in-depth development of relations between the two nations.
