A wide range of cultural exchanges between China and Germany have developed in the past decades. Since 1988, the Goethe-Institut Beijing has been playing a key role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and Germany. Goethe-Institut language department in western Beijing has long been a hub for German language learners and educators in China. CGTN's Bi Ran visited the Goethe-Institut art center in Beijing's art space 798, which has set up hundreds of theaters, dances, seminars and reading clubs at its activity center.
